Chocolate Cake
Here is the treat that is hard to forget on Memorial Day. Chocolate lovers will find their dreams come true with this moist home made and egg-less chocolate cake and frosting. Just be sure to get yourself a slice before everyone else finishes this cake off!


Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 40 mins
Makes about 500gm cake


Ingredients
 Cake Base :

• 2 cup Maida flour 
• 1 cup Milk Powder
• 2 cup Powdered sugar
• 1  teaspoon  vanilla essence
• ½  teaspoon  Baking Powder
• A pinch of Baking Soda
• A pinch of salt
• 1.5 cup Milk
• 1.5 cup Butter
•  3/4 cup condensed milk
• 1.5 cup Coco powder


✏ Cake Frosting :
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup cocoa
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    (Quantity may vary according to the size of the cake)
    (Readymade whipped creams are also available which can be used in frosting)

Method 
• Mix Maida, milk powder, vanilla essence, baking powder, baking soda,  powdered sugar, salt in a container. Sieve the mixture well.
• Mix 1 cup milk, butter, condensed milk in another bowl. Add dry mixture to this mixture and beat well. Add water if needed. The paste should be of dropping consistency.
• Grease the microwave bowl using butter, dust it with plain flour.
• Pour the mixture in the bowl and bake it for 25-30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
• Invert the bowl over a clean dish and tap sharply to unmold the cake. You may alternatively use a knife to loosen the edges of the cake. 
• Cool it for 30 minutes.



Frosting:
• Mix sugar, cocoa, butter, milk together.
• Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
• Add vanilla. Cool partially, and then beat with a mixer for 3 minutes  or until spreadable consistency.      
• Spread it on the cake.
• Sprinkle Chocolate dust over it and decorate as per your need or creativity ;) :P
